Gamble Garden is a non-profit horticultural center located on the 2.5-acre former home and garden of Elizabeth Gamble. Built in 1902, the garden has been a historic landmark of Palo Alto for over a century — an oasis for enthusiasts and amateurs alike.

Beautiful venue for a garden wedding! My nephew just got married in the garden and it was magical. The roses were in full bloom and landscaping and fountains are beautiful. I highly recommend a visit to Elizabeth F. Gable Garden.

Awesome place! I love coming here in every season—spring, summer, autumn, and winter. You can watch passion fruit grow, enjoy hydrangeas in every shade of pink, and see more flowers blooming every day. It's always calm, quiet, and peaceful.

A free garden in Palo Alto. This neighborhood is so nice, walking around here feels safe and very tranquil. This garden is nice, but there's a private event today so we can not explore every part of the garden. However we are still able to take a lot of photos and they look great. Would happy to go back next time and explore the rest! Very nice attractions and can be a great stop when you visit Stanford - Palo Alto. Nearby is the HP garage where you can walk like 9 mins to get there, also a cool stop! Overall, highly recommended checking this place out!

A peaceful hidden gem in the heart of Palo Alto. The Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden is beautifully maintained, with colorful flowers, elegant rose gardens, shaded pathways, and a charming historic house that gives the place a timeless feel. It's free to visit and perfect for a quiet stroll, photography, or simply relaxing away from the city's busy pace. The volunteers clearly put a lot of care into maintaining the gardens, and every corner has something beautiful to discover. Whether you're a local or just visiting Palo Alto, this is definitely worth a stop.

I had been in the past (a few years ago) and was previously blown away by the various foliage and blooms at the time. This week it was considerably less than our previous visit. Still relaxing and beautiful though, free to visit, complimentary parking, and a nice quick walk through on a day that was getting too hot to stay outside much longer, so it was fine for me. Last time was definitely a 5- star showing of flowers, so this time was 4 stars for me personally.
